I guess we all have a soft spot for great craftsmanship. There's a surprise in recognizing it: "really? This is handmade?". Especially when geometric accuracy and small details are absolutely required for a proper use of the final good. This seems to be the case with the portfolio of Bellerby Globemakers.
The story is inspiring and the workshop is beautiful. Peter Bellerby, the founder, also points out, what i think they are, some unexpected products from their catalog. I loved the idea behind a globe that looks exactly like the way astronauts see our planet from out there, in space. I would love to get my hands on one of those...
